January has been so busy!!! We took a wonderful week long ski trip out West and have been pirate-ing it up at various Gasparilla events.
Timothy is 11 months old and learning SOOO much lately. It's just amazing to see what he's able to understand now vs. just a few weeks ago.
Things he is understanding: Pointing toward airplanes in the sky, pointing the remote toward the TV, pointing at things he recognizes in books, trying to figure out chunky puzzles, what it means to put on shoes and go outside to play, giving hugs, putting arms up to be held, going to get something specific that I ask him to bring me (something familiar like his dog stuffed animal or Dino), what it means when we say something is hot or danger, the comings and goings of friends/who is familiar vs. not, petting the cat, reaching for the doorknob on a door, bouncing the ball back and forth, going up to the swing outside/pointing to get up for a push
Things he is saying: duck, dog, ball, dino, book, Vroom (with his cars), ppaane (airplane), moo, Da da, bye
Cuteness alert: snuggling with his stuffed animals, sitting in his chair like a big boy, showing me a big grin full of 7 teeth (yes they all came in at once), dancing to the music on his toy guitar, putting cds in his toy cd player, putting his race cars down the track, going through a Daddy phase, waving to anyone and everyone in sight (he made at least 100 friends at the airport when we were traveling, hah!)
He laughs A LOT and makes us laugh too. We can't believe he'll be 1 year next month.
