Almost Football Season!

Can you believe it? The summer is officially winding down. The stores are packed with "Back to School" stuff, the men in our lives are starting to rattle off stats and quote sports commentators, and besides all that....you can just feel it in the air. Football season is fast approaching!! After a summer filled with North Carolinea, the beach, cook outs at home and with friends, it will be nice to get back into the swing of Fall. Here are some favorite pictures from last year's Football season....and I'm sure I'll be taking some similar ones as all the traditions begin. 

Such as...

Hosting Tampa Auburn friends over to watch the game at our house. It's always fun to pull out our favorite platters, set out some shakers, turn the game on, and welcome everyone into our home. 

                     We had a big crowd last year for the Auburn vs. Alabama game. Another friend hosted everyone at their house for the National Championship game. This group is pretty intense, so not many face photos. But as you can imagine, we had a great time cheering on our team! (And eating some munchies throughout!)

                                    We always try to make it to at least one Auburn game. Last year, it was hot hot hot! A total switch from the year before when we were absolutely freezing. You just never know what the weather is going to be like in the Fall at Auburn, but no matter what...It's always wonderful to be on campus for game day and to hear the roar of fellow fans inside the stadium.

Tim is a very supportive fan of Auburn, even though he graduated from both undergrad and law school at the University of Florida. He'll even occasionally sport his Auburn gear on a non-football game day. (Major bonus points when he does that!)

Lauren and Wes are lucky...they live in Atlanta and have season tickets!! It's fun to meet up with them on game day when we can.

                      J.H. had a great senior year at Auburn last year. Here he is singing "ALL WE DO IS WIN" along with the rest of the stadium. What a perfect song for the year we had a perfect record.

                      Last year we celebrated Emily's baby shower on the Sunday after the game. Love this pic of the 4 of us. We had so much fun catching up!! This year, I'm honored that these sweet ladies will be hosting me a baby shower. Can't wait for that special evening on October 13th!!!
                                                

Speaking of the Gators.........here we are last year at the Swamp for a game. And yes, that's me sandwiched between my Gator Dad and my Gator husband.  But, they are sure supportive of Auburn so I have to be supportive of them.

EXCEPT FOR THIS YEAR!!!! The rivalry is ON.

                              October 15th---AU vs. FL game. Our house will be " A house divided."
                                          The teasing and betting and anticipation has already begun.

                                      GATORS---here you are, your stadium lit up and the sound of the Swamp
pounding with "The Gator Chomp." But you will NOT be having the home field advantage. Remember how that felt a few years ago? Jordan-Hare Stadium. Sound of our AWESOME band playing "Hey, Heyyyyyy Baby." Final score....Auburn, 21...Florida, 17? Get ready....cause history is about to repeat itself!!
