EASTER WEEKEND!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend. Saturday, we attended a Masters party.

Then, Sunday started with an especially good Easter service. The music was outstanding, and the pastor's sermon on the resurrection was very refreshing. He included lots of historical references that made me think from a new perspective, and in talking about how surprised Jesus's followers were when they saw the stone rolled away from the tomb, he asked us what our reaction was and challenged us to live out that joy every day. 

Here is a picture of us after church with both sets of parents and Tim's brother. Unfortunately, my brother wasn't able to join us since he had just made the long drive from Auburn down here two weeks ago.

We then headed to the club for brunch with my dad's side of the family.  We were all eating and talking so much that I forgot to pull out the camera. Except for before everyone arrived and that's when I snapped this cute picture of how they had the napkins designed like Easter bunnies.

In the evening, my family and Tim's met back up again for dinner. Tim's mom prepared a delicious meal for us and her table was set up so pretty, but most of all we had a wonderful time being together. It's always hard to wrap up the conversations and head home. I don't think we got out of there till 11:30!! So...I'm pretty tired at work today.
